Gluten-Free Banana Oat Bites
Soft baked bites made with banana and gluten-free oats, perfect for simple snacks, lunchboxes, or toddler-friendly bites.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / gas mark 4 and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Add the mashed bananas to a large bowl.
- Stir in the gluten-free oats, cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Mix until everything is well combined.
- Fold in the raisins or dairy-free chocolate chips if using.
- Spoon small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared tray.
- Shape them gently into bite-sized rounds.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden and set.
- Leave to cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Very ripe bananas work best for sweetness and texture.
- These bites are soft rather than crisp, making them good for lunchboxes or younger children.
- You can add a little extra cinnamon or swap raisins for dairy-free chocolate chips if preferred.
