Dairy-Free Egg-Free Garlic Dough Balls
Soft garlic dough balls made without dairy or eggs, perfect as a side, snack, or easy sharing dish.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / gas mark 6 and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the self-raising flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dairy-free yoghurt and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Lightly flour your hands and divide the dough into 12 even pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and place on the prepared tray.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, mix the olive oil, crushed garlic, and dried parsley in a small bowl.
- As soon as the dough balls come out of the oven, brush them with the garlic oil mixture.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- These are best served warm straight from the oven.
- If the dough feels too sticky to handle, add a little extra flour.
- Great as a side with soup, pasta, or dips.
